Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your data.

Last updated: 2 May 2026

Who We Are

SiteKick is a web design service based in Blackwood, South Wales. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can contact us at contact@site-kick.co.uk.

What Data We Collect

We collect data you provide directly through our contact form:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Business name
  • Type of business
  • Your message

We may also collect anonymous, aggregated data through analytics and SEO tools to understand how visitors use our website and to improve our service. This may include pages visited, time on site, referring sources and general location data. No personally identifiable information is collected through these tools without your consent.

Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Legitimate interest — to respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form and to follow up on potential business opportunities.
  • Consent — for any non-essential cookies or tracking, managed through our cookie consent banner.
  • Contractual necessity — to provide our web design service to paying clients.

How We Use Your Data

The information you submit through our contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our service. We will never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services and Data Processors

We use a small number of third-party services to operate our website and deliver our service. These services may process your data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare — our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process visitor IP addresses and set cookies for security and performance purposes (such as bot detection). Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Resend — contact form submissions are delivered via the Resend email API. Your name, email address and message are transmitted through Resend's servers to reach us. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Google Maps — an embedded map is displayed on our contact page and in the footer, subject to your cookie consent. When loaded, Google may process your IP address and set cookies. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Data processed by these third parties may be transferred to and stored in countries outside the United Kingdom. Each provider maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Cookies

We use a cookie consent manager called Klaro to let you control which cookies are set.

Strictly necessary cookies:

  • sitekick-consent — saves your cookie preferences. This cookie lasts 180 days and is required for the consent manager to function.

Optional cookies (require your consent):

  • Google Maps cookies — set by Google when the interactive map loads on the contact page. These are only loaded if you give consent via the cookie banner.
  • Cloudflare cookies — Cloudflare may set cookies such as __cf_bm for bot management and security purposes.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site, which will trigger the consent banner again.

Analytics and SEO Tools

We may use analytics and SEO monitoring tools to understand how our website is performing and to improve our search visibility. Where these tools collect data, we will ensure they are configured to respect your privacy and comply with GDPR. Any tools that use cookies or collect personal data will require your consent through our cookie banner before activation.

Your Rights Under GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, please email contact@site-kick.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months to allow us to follow up on enquiries. After this period, your data is permanently deleted unless you have become a client, in which case we retain your contact details for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Children's Data

Our service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If we make significant changes that affect how your data is processed, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
